You are right, sorry! I though it to be just "Moog Model D" as in "Moog Model 15" and confused "Minimoog" with another, older App. Sorry again
-
I saw a comparison where "mood" was very good, but the winner was "Model D" (the App).
-
Just to make sure, this is the iOS App "Minimoog" vs the real Model D, and not the "Model D" iOS App! The Minimoog App looses against the "Model D" App. So, this comparison does not show the real thing.
-
Very good points
-
Very good idea, thanks. Did you use Samplist or ReSlice and can compare to the BM3 method?
-
Of course it would be great, if after time, NS2 gets all those things, that were already in the original nanostudio. Dropping features is always unexpected by Oldtimers (which I am not).
-
I though to have done this already, starting with the creation of this topic and other postings here. But anyway.

+1

I totally have no understanding forthis Obsidian discussions! What I originally posted, is a quote that contains very valuable feedback with lots of details in some certain points! The fact that there is one small sentence about "not wild" sounds from Obsidian is totally uninteresting and just a personal point of view and…
-
You will be surprised, I am not so much interested in Obsidian at all. I also never used Twin 2 from Auria Pro... But that is just because I mostly dabble around with MIDI and exchange Synths to try different sounds. I rarely finished anything and also rarely render to audio. Synths are totally exchangeable to me, because…
-
I like Obsidian myself, don't take the "not wild" so heavy, people communicate in different ways ;) Can the macros page be used to modulate the currently played keys live, like with a modwheel? Also, what is with support for external keyboards and modwheels? As it seems, such modulation is important to some people. NS2…
-
Obsidian is a very capable Synth, but not the end of all Synths. So, why not let other people state their own impression? Some people touch nothing other than Model 15, Model D or Zeeon. If they prefer it this way, why not? I found the quoted statement to be very interesting and valuable to the community! It is a honest…
-
@dendy Try the same with Model D or Zeeon ;)
-
What dendy wrote :)
-
There are many AU Synth, where already 2 instances may reach the CPU limit! From what you wrote, i get the impression that you stay in NS2 only, without AU Synths. This is not comparable, i think.
-
Yeahh =)
-
Did I get the first official bug? :) :3
-
I counted 40, excluding those 2.
-
If this topic is the right to post bugs, I think I've found one: In the selection for AU instruments, there is an alphabet on the right side, where you are suppose to jump to the AU starting with that character. And it does not seem to work: In the first image, this is what is shown for all of the characters T, U, V and Z:…

Many thanks @Stiksi and @LeeB I did read the manual, but somehow overlooked the Selected / Always trigger.
-
Developing on Windows and then only later compile to iOS would even better fit my possibilities :) Did you use any C++ framework or existing libraries? Thanks for the information!
-
Many thanks, I found https://juce.com and will have a look at it. But as you said, compiling to iOS will be the greatest problem.
-
Ah, great. I seem to have read something like that before, but was not sure. Thanks :)
-
I think, we have some misunderstanding or misreading above. It was written, that Objective C and Swift are quite the same performance wise, not Objective C and C++ (or Swift and C++). Better?
-
Ah, that's new and interesting. I only ever did C, C++ and Python.
-
I did not hear / read good things about Swift. Objective C seems to still be the better solution. But I don't know either.
-
Many thanks, I think I read about those two languages more than one time in regards to programming for iOS (and other platforms). I already know C++ and will have a look at Objective C. Biggest problem will be, that I am based on Windows 10 and don't have a Mac.
-
Yes, a fantastic posting that clarifies many things and brings down some cooking emotions. Many thanks for this! Take your time, Matt.
-
That's great! Many thanks :)

I just recommend to create more categories and handle the feature requests. This is way more important. But I see no movement.
