@Stanley_V that is super cool to be able to visualize with your diagram and notes! I would love to see this as a video.
-
@hisdudeness it’s nice hearing different genre’s of music being used in NS2. Nice work! I like strings too :) that lead sound is really nice. I like the filtery falloff at the note off.

Nobody cares about a rip off, they just want a good solution.
-
I believe it was mentioned by some of the beta folks that the first update that went out set back the timeline because lots of unexpected things were in there with individual AU support that were unexpected.

I think maybe you are the one having difficulty with the English language. If I say, your communication skills are the worst, how does that make you feel? What if I say your attitude is the worst? I could say the way you speak is a failure that needs fixing, no ifs, no buts, just a failure, harsh, no, just reality, needs…

I would love the option to be able to pop out the channel strip for whatever device is currently on screen on the side of the screen from literally anywhere. You do a long press on something, a dedicated button, whatever. I think it would help out a lot. You could solo, etc right from that screen and then pop in when done.

That is seriously sick @Cray23

Yeah you can pry my 2017 13” IPad Pro out of my cold dead hands. Audio jack FTW!
-
In grinds defense....I have a shedload of stuff in this song. 65 tracks and a lot of tracks with 10+ fx. It could be anything.
-
@klownshed in all your projects, are you always using a specific AU in them that might be the culprit?
-
@iPadBeatMaking that was a great list! Thank you for putting in the effort for those requests. As somebody that is not just making music, but making content in the app, I applaud you. Great stuff!!!

Ok..even more strange. I save the custom Grind patch to a user preset, delete Grind, re-add, load up the custom patch... Works fine. I can save a new version and I can render. Rendering without Grind was at 1.6x, but with Grind it’s at 1.1 I’ll take it! Now to start mixing!
-
Disabled Grind (didn’t delete it) and I can now render and I can save the project. That plugin....it sounds so effing good but it has given me more grief than it’s worth. Had problems with it in BM3 as well. Man, it sounds soooo good on this drum track too. Well...it did
-
Haha, well, yeah a little. But I've at least got the current version that I can keep working on and save...hopefully. I've got exported copies, etc. I've got a few wav renders done so if this is the end, then I've at least got those :) Making music is just for fun for me, so if it all goes it all goes and I just starting…
-
So...that didn't help...matter o fact, now I can't render at all. Its stuck at 0.0x. I tried to do a save us with no changes and it got stuck forever on Saving <filename> with the blue spinner on the right. Then, it just blew up and closed the app. Now I have a New filename, but its 0 bytes in size and the date is ---…

Not sure yet. Going to try @dendy suggestion and report back.

Yeah that’s my next process, thanks for confirming good steps! I’m guessing something in the fixes to AU’s might have borked something else. I’m only using a few I think so it should be pretty easy to identify if it is an AU. I was going to get the Fabfilter bundle but going to hold off until I can get get to the bottom of…

I’ve definitely got a problem with a track I’ve been working on for months. I’ve had a bunch of IRL changes going on so I haven’t been working on any music, but I pulled up this tune and I’ve had a couple of oddities since the NS2 update... * Render times which used to be 3x speed or so are at .1! That’s point 1. I didn’t…

Agree with @anickt 100%. It’s quite an amazing synth. Plus it’s so resource friendly you can easily create many instances and still have great performance on your iPad. I’ve learned a lot about how it works (but not enough yet, haha) by going through and preset tweak to get what I want. And you’ll have experts available…

iPhone is imperative so that Matt can make some more money. iPhone only users are a significant market, methinks, so he needs to recoup that development cost. I’m all for the iPhone version if it helps out Matt.

Plus many 1s
-
@db909 I had no idea I could do that!!!!!! Life changer right there :+1:
-
@anickt great stuff! Well produced and punchy. That would not put me to sleep, though
-
Lowering the buffer size does not help. Tomorrow I’ll try removing some AU’s. I’m nodding off super bad haha.
-
My Mixdowns are suuuuuper slow with 2.01. My 96khz 32bit float was at 0.6x to 0.8x now it won’t move past 0.1x. No other changes other than opening it up and rendering. Edit: tried at 48khz 32bit float and it started at 0.4x and now it’s crawled to 0.1x as well.
-
That’s a hella good trick on the rimshot. It sounds really good. All the detail does. Ima have to work on some less busy music. Use the effects as instruments, if you will. This is a great example.
-
Man, that’s lush Matt! Your mix skills are sharp! It’s almost like you know things about audio or something  You’ve created so much space (see what I did there?) with the mix so I can really hear the subtle effects you’ve got rollin. Glad to see you able to use your creation for...more creations!

OMG! The iPad Pro screen optimization...so...beautiful. I didn’t think it would be a big deal for me but wow....I just got a bunch more screen real estate on my 13” model.
-
Congrats Matt!!!!! Those were very good choices for your first update. Lots of happy folks, I’m sure. Bravo!!
