BTW; shortly after my sent email.. ———- “Hi King, i thought it was fixed. Have to try to replicate again and see what happens. Harry Gohs VirSyn Software Synthesizer” ———- King
-
Just sent another email to Harry! .. Peace King
-
“I’ll update this thread if/when I hear anything. Or maybe the fix will be in the Store first!” ———- So there is an update in the store today! Unfortunately it has NOT! fixed the issue. ——— Tested the project in NS2 before updating, to remind me. Closed Nanostudio. Updated ReSlice. Opened ReSlice Standalone first, then…

[Ref: v 1.5.1] ———- Update: About 20 minutes after I wrote to him today, Harry wrote back: “Hi King, just as a short note: will have a look at this problem. Seems that i could reproduce it. Best Regards Harry” ———- I’ll update this thread if/when I hear anything. Or maybe the fix will be in the Store first! Bless! King

"Penny for your thoughts?" "Hmm.." I'm glad Matt is able to hear the flanging! ... but it looks like Harry is going to have to hate someone.. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..........!!!" Note to self, ... "wait for the horse to speak". ✌️ King
-
Hmm.. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..........!!! King
-
“it was two side job” Excellent!!! (makes sense) ———- I can wait.. Saves me writing an email too.. Cheers King
-
Post restart: Same thing. The first note plays straight, (excluding flange) but if I record sliding my finger up n down the keyboard they are out of sync on playback, opposite to what it was pre-update.. ———- Well I can resize in AUM.. Ha! King
-
Yeah new project and it’s still messing around. Recorded fine I my old project, (apart from flanging) but not in a new project. Notes skipping etc.. Hmm.. Let me restart my pad.. If not I’ll just get in touch with Virsyn.. King
-
In NS2, it works now, (‘somewhat’). Had a few (what sounds like flanging) at the start, but after recording a new event sync plays nice, until it loops, and you hear the flange. Maybe it was the old test recordings/project I did, that are now out in another way etc.. (even after moving the note back to the start) I’ll have…

Was just thinking I’m gonna update now anyway, as I wouldn’t miss the resizing as it wasn’t there before. And I would only use that feature in AUM (maybe Auria). Here goes.. King
-
“If it’s not soon enough, I’ll contact Harry.” Well today is soon enough! Update is in the Store, but getting reports about crashing “Pro 12.9”, so I’ll wait for more info on other iPads. Waited this long, so... Peace! King Added: Also on iPad 10.5.. (Crashes occur, when resizing, in various ways)
-
Cheers! Their update will be welcomed! If it’s not soon enough, I’ll contact Harry. ——— I look forward also to NS2’s 1st update.. Bless! King

Dude! What is the problem? If it’s cool for you, then leave it! Simple King P.S. When I make threads, I address them to Matt, no one else. Seems your more into this now than me. I’ve deleted Egoist, chill. These are the reasons I seldom post on forums anymore. But I’m good, very good. ✌🏼
-
Cool Cool! Deleted from my iPad (mini✌🏼 : p), again now (nothing to do with this issue). Hope it all works out! Good to nip these things in the bud. Cheers King
-
Ha, Well I can only use what I have. Would Love an iPad Pro to test it with, but if it can’t fit in my pocket, I don’t want it! Anyway my input on this subject is done. (Investigated enough now). Time for creating. (And please don’t call my dinosaur, old, there’s many who would Love it) L8ta, King
-
Remember! AUM and BM3 are both playing fine! See yah! King
-
Haha to everything! ^ King
-
Cool.. finally! The metronome was purposefully on, so that you guys could here NS2’s clock, and compare the drift to what your seeing etc.. You heard it, no need to redo, my work here is done! Haha. Mini2 12.1.1. Cheers, King ———- I actually did re-record with just the sample filter with lowpass, and metronome way down,…
-
I’ll see what I can do to make it easier for you Newbies.. But not just yet.. ———- “You are very committed” ... Ironically, (as I stated in an earlier post), I only re-downloaded egoist to see what the AUv3 version was like. If it wasn’t for this issue I probably would have deleted it again by now, as I have ReSlice - BM3…

Btw, this “Listen to the kick stutter effect” is part of the programmed track. There are two kicks in the track, a heavy one used from BEAT. and a lighter one used in the sample. Listen to the lighter one! King
-
And yes, I will call you crazy! ———- Cheers for taking a look though guys! King
-
Haha! And I thought you guys were musicians, with a keen, highly developed ear. (Kidding) Don’t worry, somebody will come along who will here the issue.. King
-
Ok here’s a vid link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/odkgcrnoatm0chk/IMG_2720.TRIM.MOV?dl=0 Listen to the kick stutter effect 1,2,3,4 (or 1,1,1,1) on “PART” 2 of Egoist Sequencer. Also don’t focus too much on the visual (running bar) in the vid, there was a screen recording lag, so that’s not too accurate, but still noticeable.…
-
May have to do a short vid.. not today, but if needed? Never posted one before, but I’d just send a drop box link. (Unless anyone can confirm (saving me time) .. ) King
-
Yeah, when set to External, Egoist will start with Nano. I think maybe (don’t really like guessing) but SB's may have just left the option in the AUv3 because it’s (the option) is already there, so to speak. Users will still find a use for it.. Audio is definitely out! The visual test was only so everyone with Egoist could…
-
Haha, I know, I know! I tell you what though, I know you have it, because there is a LOT of perfection in NanoStudio 2, ... too.. King
-
Pasted/quoted this here, cos, well, OCD and such.. King
-
Nah! Definitely not operator error! If “Clock Source” is set to 'Internal' Egoist won’t play/start via the host transport, it will only start by pressing it’s own play button. I see the issue you would have by starting Egoist separately (using internal). But try the original sight test, set to “External/Host Start”. Cheers…
