Being able to edit the fx name (audio+Midi) or at least use the short name of the AU plug.
With a long chain using the same plug (e.g. Mozaic) this would be so much easier

    Nice one. And a perfect use case example.

    I wonder if automatically appending some sort of ordinal after any plugin inserted more than once in a chain would help? So, Mozaic A, Mozaic B, Mozaic C... or LO-FI 1, LO-FI 2, LO-FI 3...

    This is already there - numeric :)
