Randomizing pitch of a sample with Obsidian's LFO (video tip)
This video shows how to randomize the pitch of a sample using the LFO of NanoStudio 2 Obsidian synth.
It's not an in-depth tutorial, I made it to invite you to experiment with it yourself.
Here I am using only the Random Loop mode but of course other LFO types have interesting results too.
The parameters that can be tweaked are:
- LFO type with curve, pattern, length
- Output : Bipolar, Uni Half, Uni Full
- Sync: Off, Key, Global
And important, don't forget to set the depth in the Mod Matrix, multiplier can also be used if desired.
The 2 original samples are from the Memory Collection 10.
